Terms of Use

1. Agreement

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Thriftmap (the “Service”), including our website at usethriftmap.com and our iOS app. By creating an account, purchasing a membership, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Thriftmap helps you find thrift stores, charity shops, vintage shops, and flea markets near you, along with helpful details such as the best days to visit. Store information is provided for convenience and may be incomplete or out of date; always confirm hours and details with the business directly.

3. Membership, billing & auto-renewal

Full access to Thriftmap requires a paid annual membership. The membership is billed annually in advance at the price shown to you at the time of purchase (currently $27 per year).

Your membership automatically renews each year unless you cancel it. You will be charged for the next year unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. The price for a renewal is the price in effect at the time of renewal; we will give notice of any price change as required by law or platform rules.

4. Canceling

App Store purchases: if you subscribed in the iPhone app, cancel anytime in your Apple settings — open the Settings app, search “Subscriptions”, tap Thriftmap, then tap Cancel Subscription. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.

Web purchases: contact us (details below) to cancel, or use any self-service link provided in your account. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep access through the end of the period already paid for.

5. Refunds

Purchases made through the Apple App Store are subject to Apple’s refund policies and are handled by Apple. For web purchases, contact us and we will work with you in good faith; statutory refund rights, where they apply, are unaffected.

6. Accounts & acceptable use

You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. You agree not to misuse the Service, including by scraping, reverse-engineering, reselling data, or interfering with its operation or security.

7. Apple App Store

If you obtained the app through the Apple App Store, your use is also subject to Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Apple is not responsible for the Service or its content and is not a party to these Terms, but is a third-party beneficiary entitled to enforce them.

8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Thriftmap is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the effective date above; continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
